Hiring: Content Lead

We’re looking for a versatile, talented Content Lead to join our small team of technical marketing experts at Flywheel. If you’re the right person, you understand that great digital content is the content that performs best, and that performance is a function of strategy, creativity, and technical execution.

 

Flywheel works with some of the world’s top high-growth digital consumer brands, such as lululemon, Good Inside, Willful, and Lighthouse Labs. You’ll work directly with our clients and be responsible for developing full-funnel, multi-channel strategies for digital content that drives performance—from planning to production management to analysis.

 

You’ll report to the Sr. Content Lead, working with both our Organic and Paid growth teams, with the opportunity to build your own team under you over time.

 

We take a holistic, data-based approach to content, considering it the centre of the flywheel for marketing outcomes. You won’t just be writing articles (although, you’ll do some of that, too) – you’ll manage visuals, plan email automations, provide CRO recommendations, and get the opportunity to think strategically about your clients’ success.

 

This is a full-time, remote-first position, well-suited to someone who has solid experience working in a creative strategist capacity.

 

The right person has 3-6 years’ experience or equivalent skills across the following:

 

  • Full-funnel, multi-channel content strategy and management
  • Writer team management
  • Client communications
  • Email copywriting
  • Writing / Editing
  • A range of content formats (landing pages, quizzes, infographics, photo/video)
  • Improving and optimizing content production processes with AI
